We still offer the > Motor + West Special < system, first offered by WEST-CLASSIC in Switzerland, for all engines. For a small additional charge we offer you the engine as an option... with a flywheel balanced on the crankshaft including a new starter ring and complete clutch set. For example, for an MGB from CHF 650.-. With some other suppliers, a clutch set alone costs almost as much.
We also have engines in our range that are overhauled in Switzerland. These engines are overhauled in a cylinder grinding mill recommended by us and converted to lead-free. This at a cheaper price than you would expect. All our engines have a 1 year full warranty.
It's your choice. However, we recommend that you let us advise you before you buy an engine “off the shelf”.
